Meanwhile, when the crowd gathered in thousands, so
that they trampled on one another, he began to speak
first to his disciples, ‘Beware of the yeast of the
Pharisees, that is, their hypocrisy. 2Nothing is covered
up that will not be uncovered, and nothing secret that
will not become known. 3Therefore whatever you have
said in the dark will be heard in the light, and what
you have whispered behind closed doors will be proclaimed
from the housetops.
4 ‘I tell you, my friends, do
not fear those who kill the body, and after that can
do nothing more. 5But I will warn you whom to fear:
fear him who, after he has killed, has authority* to
cast into hell.* Yes, I tell you, fear him! 6Are not
five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them
is forgotten in God’s sight. 7But even the hairs of
your head are all counted. Do not be afraid; you are
of more value than many sparrows.
8 ‘And I tell
you, everyone who acknowledges me before others, the
Son of Man also will acknowledge before the angels of
God; 9but whoever denies me before others will be denied
before the angels of God. 10And everyone who speaks
a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven; but
whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not
be forgiven. 11When they bring you before the synagogues,
the rulers, and the authorities, do not worry about
how* you are to defend yourselves or what you are to
say; 12for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that very
hour what you ought to say.’
13 Someone in the crowd
said to him, ‘Teacher, tell my brother to divide the
family inheritance with me.’ 14But he said to him,
‘Friend, who set me to be a judge or arbitrator over
you?’ 15And he said to them, ‘Take care! Be on your
guard against all kinds of greed; for one’s life does
not consist in the abundance of possessions.’
1.這時、有幾萬人聚集、甚至彼此踐踏、耶穌開講、先對門徒說、你們要防備法利賽人的酵、就是假冒為善。
2.掩蓋的事、沒有不露出來的．隱藏的事、沒有不被人知道的。
3.因此你們在暗中所說的、將要在明處被人聽見．在內室附耳所說的、將要在房上被人宣揚。 4.我的朋友、我對你們說、那殺身體以後、不能再作甚麼的、不要怕他們。
5.我要指示你們當怕的是誰．當怕那殺了以後、又有權柄丟在地獄裡的．我實在告訴你們、正要怕他。 6.五個麻雀、不是賣二分銀子麼．但在 神面前、一個也不忘記。
7.就是你們的頭髮也都被數過了．不要懼怕、你們比許多麻雀還貴重。
8.我又告訴你們、凡在人面前認我的、人子在 神的使者面前也必認他．
9.在人面前不認我的、人子在 神的使者面前也必不認他。
10.凡說話干犯人子的、還可得赦免、惟獨褻瀆聖靈的、總不得赦免。
11.人帶你們到會堂、並官府、和有權柄的人面前、不要思慮怎麼分訴、說甚麼話． 12.因為正在那時候、聖靈要指教你們當說的話。
13.眾人中有一個人對耶穌說、夫子、請你吩咐我的兄長和我分開家業。
14.耶穌說、你這個人、誰立我作你們斷事的官、給你們分家業呢。 15.於是對眾人說、你們要謹慎自守、免去一切的貪心．因為人的生命、不在乎家道豐富。
