When they arrived at Salamis, they proclaimed the word
of God in the synagogues of the Jews. And they had John
also to assist them. 6When they had gone through the
whole island as far as Paphos, they met a certain magician,
a Jewish false prophet, named Bar-Jesus. 7He was with
the proconsul, Sergius Paulus, an intelligent man, who
summoned Barnabas and Saul and wanted to hear the word
of God. 8But the magician Elymas (for that is the translation
of his name) opposed them and tried to turn the proconsul
away from the faith. 9But Saul, also known as Paul,
filled with the Holy Spirit, looked intently at him
10and said, ‘You son of the devil, you enemy of all
righteousness, full of all deceit and villainy, will
you not stop making crooked the straight paths of the
Lord? 11And now listen?the hand of the Lord is against
you, and you will be blind for a while, unable to see
the sun.’ Immediately mist and darkness came over him,
and he went about groping for someone to lead him by
the hand. 12When the proconsul saw what had happened,
he believed, for he was astonished at the teaching about
the Lord.
5.到了撒拉米，就在犹太人各会堂里传讲神的道。也有约翰作他们的帮手。
6.经过全岛，直到帕弗，在那里遇见一个有法术假充先知的犹太人，名叫巴耶稣。 7.这人常和方伯士求保罗同在，士求保罗是个通达人。他请了巴拿巴和扫罗来，要听神的道。 8.只是那行法术的吕马，（这名翻出来就是行法术的意思）敌挡使徒，要叫方伯不信真道。
9.扫罗又名保罗，被圣灵充满定睛看他，
10.说，你这充满各样诡诈奸恶，魔鬼的儿子，众善得仇敌，你混乱主的正道还不止住麽。
11.现在主的手加在你身上。你要瞎眼，暂且不见日光。他的眼睛立刻昏蒙黑暗，四下里求人拉着手领他。
12.方伯看见所作的事，很希奇主的道，就信了。 5 και γενομενοι

6 διελθοντες δε ολην
την νησον αχρι παφου ευρον ανδρα
τινα μαγον ψευδοπροφητην ιουδαιον

7 ος ην συν τω ανθυπατω σεργιω
παυλω ανδρι συνετω ουτος προσκαλεσαμενος
βαρναβαν και σαυλον επεζητησεν
ακουσαι τον λογον του θεου

ανθιστατο δε αυτοις ελυμας ο μαγος
ουτως γαρ μεθερμηνευεται το ονομα
αυτου ζητων διαστρεψαι τον ανθυπατον
απο της πιστεως
9 σαυλος δε ο
και παυλος πλησθεις πνευματος
αγιου ατενισας εις αυτον
10 ειπεν
ω πληρης παντος δολου και πασης
ραδιουργιας υιε διαβολου εχθρε
πασης δικαιοσυνης ου παυση διαστρεφων
τας οδους {VAR1: του } {VAR2: [του] } κυριου
τας ευθειας
11 και νυν ιδου χειρ
κυριου επι σε και εση τυφλος μη
βλεπων τον ηλιον αχρι καιρου
παραχρημα {VAR1: δε } {VAR2: τε } επεσεν
επ αυτον αχλυς και σκοτος και
περιαγων εζητει χειραγωγους

τοτε ιδων ο ανθυπατος το γεγονος
επιστευσεν εκπλησσομενος επι
τη διδαχη του κυριου
