Since much time had been lost and sailing was now dangerous,
because even the Fast had already gone by, Paul advised
them, 10saying, ‘Sirs, I can see that the voyage will
be with danger and much heavy loss, not only of the
cargo and the ship, but also of our lives.’ 11But the
centurion paid more attention to the pilot and to the
owner of the ship than to what Paul said. 12Since the
harbour was not suitable for spending the winter, the
majority was in favour of putting to sea from there,
on the chance that somehow they could reach Phoenix,
where they could spend the winter. It was a harbour
of Crete, facing south-west and north-west.
9.走的日子多了、已經過了禁食的節期、行船又危險、保羅就勸眾人說、
10.眾位、我看這次行船、不但貨物和船要受傷損、大遭破壞、連我們的性命也難保。 11.但百夫長信從掌船的和船主、不信從保羅所說的。
12.且因在這海口過冬不便、船上的人、就多半說、不如開船離開這地方、或者能到非尼基過冬．非尼基是革哩底的一個海口、一面朝東北、一面朝東南。 9 ικανου δε

ο δε εκατονταρχης τω κυβερνητη
και τω ναυκληρω μαλλον επειθετο
η τοις υπο παυλου λεγομενοις
12
ανευθετου δε του λιμενος υπαρχοντος
προς παραχειμασιαν οι πλειονες
εθεντο βουλην αναχθηναι εκειθεν
ειπως δυναιντο καταντησαντες
εις φοινικα παραχειμασαι λιμενα
της κρητης βλεποντα κατα λιβα
και κατα χωρον
