When they had sung the hymn, they went out to the Mount
of Olives. 27And Jesus said to them, ‘You will all
become deserters; for it is written, “I will strike
the shepherd, and the sheep will be
scattered.”
28But after I am raised up, I will
go before you to Galilee.’ 29Peter said to him, ‘Even
though all become deserters, I will not.’ 30Jesus said
to him, ‘Truly I tell you, this day, this very night,
before the cock crows twice, you will deny me three
times.’ 31But he said vehemently, ‘Even though I must
die with you, I will not deny you.’ And all of them
said the same.
32
They went to a place called Gethsemane; and he said
to his disciples, ‘Sit here while I pray.’ 33He took
with him Peter and James and John, and began to be distressed
and agitated. 34And he said to them, ‘I am deeply grieved,
even to death; remain here, and keep awake.’ 35And
going a little farther, he threw himself on the ground
and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might
pass from him. 36He said, ‘Abba,* Father, for you all
things are possible; remove this cup from me; yet, not
what I want, but what you want.’ 37He came and found
them sleeping; and he said to Peter, ‘Simon, are you
asleep? Could you not keep awake one hour? 38Keep awake
and pray that you may not come into the time of trial;*
the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.’
39And again he went away and prayed, saying the same
words. 40And once more he came and found them sleeping,
for their eyes were very heavy; and they did not know
what to say to him.
26 他們唱了詩、就出來、往橄欖山去。
27 耶穌對他們說、你們都要跌倒了．因為經上記著說、『我要擊打牧人、羊就分散了。』
28 但我復活以後、要在你們以先往加利利去。
29 彼得說、眾人雖然跌倒、我總不能。
30 耶穌對他說、我實在告訴你、就在今天夜裡、雞叫兩遍以先、你要三次不認我。
31 彼得卻極力的說、我就是必須和你同死、也總不能不認你．眾門徒都是這樣說、
32 他們來到一個地方、名叫客西馬尼．耶穌對門徒說、你們坐在這裡、等我禱告。
33 於是帶著彼得、雅各、約翰同去、就驚恐起來、極其難過。
34 對他們說、我心裡甚是憂傷、幾乎要死．你們在這裡、等候儆醒。
35 他就稍往前走、俯伏在地禱告說、倘若可行、便叫那時候過去。
36 他說、阿爸、父阿、在你凡事都能．求你將這杯撤去．然而不要從我的意思、只要從你的意思。37 耶穌回來、見他們睡著了、就對彼得說、西門、你睡覺麼。不能儆醒片時麼。
38 總要儆醒禱告、免得入了迷惑．你們心靈固然願意、肉體卻軟弱了。
39 耶穌又去禱告、說的話還是與先前一樣。
40 又來、見他們睡著了、因為他們的眼睛甚是困倦．他們也不知道怎樣回答。 |

31 Then Jesus said to them, ‘You will
all become deserters because of me this night; for it
is written, “I will strike the shepherd, and
the sheep of the flock will be scattered.”
32But
after I am raised up, I will go ahead of you to Galilee.’
33Peter said to him, ‘Though all become deserters because
of you, I will never desert you.’ 34Jesus said to him,
‘Truly I tell you, this very night, before the cock
crows, you will deny me three times.’ 35Peter said
to him, ‘Even though I must die with you, I will not
deny you.’ And so said all the disciples.
36
Then Jesus went with them to a place called Gethsemane;
and he said to his disciples, ‘Sit here while I go
over there and pray.’ 37He took with him Peter and
the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be grieved and
agitated. 38Then he said to them, ‘I am deeply grieved,
even to death; remain here, and stay awake with me.’
39And going a little farther, he threw himself on the
ground and prayed, ‘My Father, if it is possible, let
this cup pass from me; yet not what I want but what
you want.’ 40Then he came to the disciples and found
them sleeping; and he said to Peter, ‘So, could you
not stay awake with me one hour? 41Stay awake and pray
that you may not come into the time of trial;* the spirit
indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.’ 42Again
he went away for the second time and prayed, ‘My Father,
if this cannot pass unless I drink it, your will be
done.’ 43Again he came and found them sleeping, for
their eyes were heavy.

31 那時、耶穌對他們說、今夜你們為我的緣故、都要跌倒．因為經上記著說、『我要擊打牧人、羊就分散了。』
32 但我復活以後、要在你們以先往加利利去。33 彼得說、眾人雖然為你的緣故跌倒、我卻永不跌倒。34 耶穌說、我實在告訴你、今夜雞叫以先、你要三次不認我。
35 彼得說、我就是必須和你同死、也總不能不認你。眾門徒都是這樣說、
36 耶穌同門徒來到一個地方、名叫客西馬尼、就對他們說、你們坐在這裡、等我到那邊去禱告。37 於是帶著彼得、和西庇太的兩個兒子同去、就憂愁起來、極其難過．
38 便對他們說、我心裡甚是憂傷、幾乎要死．你們在這裡等候、和我一同儆醒。
39 他就稍往前走、俯伏在地、禱告說、我父阿、倘若可行、求你叫這杯離開我．然而不要照我的意思、只要照你的意思。
40 來到門徒那裡、見他們睡著了、就對彼得說、怎麼樣、你們不能同我儆醒片時麼。
41 總要儆醒禱告、免得入了迷惑．你們心靈固然願意、肉體卻軟弱了。
42 第二次又去禱告說、我父阿、這杯若不能離開我、必要我喝、就願你的意旨成全。
43 又來見他們睡著了、因為他們的眼睛困倦。 |

‘Simon, Simon, listen! Satan has demanded* to sift
all of you like wheat, 32but I have prayed for you that
your own faith may not fail; and you, when once you
have turned back, strengthen your brothers.’ 33And
he said to him, ‘Lord, I am ready to go with you to
prison and to death!’ 34Jesus* said, ‘I tell you,
Peter, the cock will not crow this day, until you have
denied three times that you know me.’
35 He said
to them, ‘When I sent you out without a purse, bag,
or sandals, did you lack anything?’ They said, ‘No,
not a thing.’ 36He said to them, ‘But now, the one
who has a purse must take it, and likewise a bag. And
the one who has no sword must sell his cloak and buy
one. 37For I tell you, this scripture must be fulfilled
in me, “And he was counted among the lawless”; and
indeed what is written about me is being fulfilled.’
38They said, ‘Lord, look, here are two swords.’ He
replied, ‘It is enough.’
39 He came out and went,
as was his custom, to the Mount of Olives; and the disciples
followed him. 40When he reached the place, he said to
them, ‘Pray that you may not come into the time of
trial.’* 41Then he withdrew from them about a stone’s
throw, knelt down, and prayed, 42‘Father, if you are
willing, remove this cup from me; yet, not my will but
yours be done.’ [[ 43Then an angel from heaven appeared
to him and gave him strength. 44In his anguish he prayed
more earnestly, and his sweat became like great drops
of blood falling down on the ground.]]* 45When he got
up from prayer, he came to the disciples and found them
sleeping because of grief,
31 主又說、西門、西門、撒但想要得著你們、好篩你們、像篩麥子一樣．
32 但我巳經為你祈求、叫你不至於失了信心．你回頭以後、要堅固你的弟兄。
33 彼得說、主阿．我就是同你下監、同你受死、也是甘心。
34 耶穌說、彼得、我告訢你、今日雞還沒有叫、你要三次說不認得我。
35 耶穌又對他們說、我差你們出去的時候、沒有錢囊、沒有口袋、沒有鞋、你們缺少甚麼沒有．他們說、沒有。
36 耶穌說、但如今有錢囊的可以帶著、有口袋的也可以帶著．沒有刀的要賣衣服買刀。
37 我告訴你們、經上寫著說、『他被列在罪犯之中。』這話必應驗在我身上、因為那關係我的事、必然成就。
38 他們說、主阿、請看、這裡有兩把刀．耶穌說、彀了。
39 耶穌出來、照常往橄欖山去．門徒也跟隨他。40 到了那地方、就對他們說、你們要禱告、免得入了迷惑。 41 於是離開他們、約有扔一塊石頭那麼遠、跪下禱告、
42 說、父阿、你若願意、就把這杯撤去．然而不要成就我意思、只要成就你的意思。
43 有一位天使從天上顯現、加添他的力量。
44 耶穌極其傷痛、禱告更加懇切．汗珠如大血點、滴在地上。
45 禱告完了、就起來、到門徒那裡、見他們因為憂愁都睡著了． |
