He went up the mountain and called to him those whom
he wanted, and they came to him. 14And he appointed
twelve, whom he also named apostles,* to be with him,
and to be sent out to proclaim the message, 15and to
have authority to cast out demons. 16So he appointed
the twelve:* Simon (to whom he gave the name Peter);
17James son of Zebedee and John the brother of James
(to whom he gave the name Boanerges, that is, Sons of
Thunder); 18and Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew,
and Matthew, and Thomas, and James son of Alphaeus,
and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Cananaean, 19and Judas
Iscariot, who betrayed him. Then he went home;
13 耶穌上了山、隨自己的意思叫人來、他們便來到他那裡。
14 他就設立十二個人、要他們常和自己同在、也要差他們去傳道、
15 並給他們權柄趕鬼。
16 這十二個人有西門、耶穌又給他起名叫彼得．
17 還有西庇太的兒子雅各、和雅各的兄弟約翰．又給這個兩人起名叫半尼其、就是雷子的意思．
18 又有安得烈、腓力、巴多羅買、馬太、多馬、亞勒腓的兒子雅各、和達太、並奮銳黨的西門。
19 還有賣耶穌的加略人猶大。 |

Then Jesus* summoned his twelve
disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits,
to cast them out, and to cure every disease and every
sickness. 2These are the names of the twelve apostles:
first, Simon, also known as Peter, and his brother Andrew;
James son of Zebedee, and his brother John; 3Philip
and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax-collector;
James son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus;* 4Simon the Cananaean,
and Judas Iscariot, the one who betrayed him.
1 耶穌叫了十二個門徒來、給他們權柄、能趕逐污鬼、並醫治各樣的病症。
2 這十二使徒的名、頭一個叫西門、又稱彼得、還有他兄弟安得烈．西庇太的兒子雅各、和雅各的兄弟約翰．
3 腓力、和巴多羅買、多馬、和稅吏馬太、亞勒腓的兒子雅各、和達太．
4 奮銳黨的西門、還有賣耶穌的加略人猶大

Now during those days he went out to the mountain to
pray; and he spent the night in prayer to God. 13And
when day came, he called his disciples and chose twelve
of them, whom he also named apostles: 14Simon, whom
he named Peter, and his brother Andrew, and James, and
John, and Philip, and Bartholomew, 15and Matthew, and
Thomas, and James son of Alphaeus, and Simon, who was
called the Zealot, 16and Judas son of James, and Judas
Iscariot, who became a traitor.

Soon afterwards he went on
through cities and villages, proclaiming and bringing
the good news of the kingdom of God. The twelve were
with him, 2as well as some women who had been cured
of evil spirits and infirmities: Mary, called Magdalene,
from whom seven demons had gone out, 3and Joanna, the
wife of Herod’s steward Chuza, and Susanna, and many
others, who provided for them* out of their resources.
6:12 那時、耶穌出去上山禱告．整夜禱告 神。
13 到了天亮、叫他的門徒來．就從他們中間挑選十二個人、稱他們為使徒．
14 這十二個人有西門、耶穌又給他起名彼得、還有他兄弟安得烈、又有雅各和約翰、腓力和巴多羅買、
15 馬太和多馬、亞勒腓的兒子雅各、和奮銳黨的西門、
16 雅各的兒子猶大、〔兒子或作兄弟〕和賣主的加略人猶大。
8:1 過了不多日、耶穌周遊各城各鄉傳道、宣講 神國的福音．和他同去的有十二個門徒、
2 還有被惡鬼所附、被疾病所累、已經治好的幾個婦女、內中有稱為抹大拉的馬利亞、曾有七個鬼從他身上趕出來．
3 又有希律的家宰苦撒的妻子約亞拿、並蘇撒拿、和好些別的婦女、都是用自己的財物供給耶穌和門徒。 |
